Layla dance 2015

Well as you all can tell I'm horrible at blogging. So I'm going to do the most recent things that have happened. Layla had a parents watch for dance and here is one of her dances.

Easter and Birhtday Celebrations

During Easter weekend Layla got a bad cold. She didn't get very much sleep which sadly meant that neither did the rest of us. Since she was so sick she didn't want to do a whole lot. What she did do I took pictures. Later on in the week when we celebrated Aaron's birthday she was feeling a lot better. She is still on the mend and I'm happy that I have my silly girl back!!

Layla was a little nervous when her dad blew out the candles but I thought I did a good job catching all the smoke in the picture. Aaron's the big 25!!

Rylan, Sheree's son, gave Layla a piece of chocolate from his bunny. I had to hide it from her because I didn't want her to have too much sugar. When I did that then she kept going up to Rylan for more.We found an egg!!!!

My family has a tradition of throwing eggs off the mountain for Easter. This is Aaron trying to make it into the water that's below the mountain (he didn't make it :(.

She kept throwing her eggs and then wanting to go get them. My dad had to hold onto her coat to keep her close. She wasn't very found of not getting to roam around to much without help.

Hello everyone! A lot has happened since I last updated everything. Layla has broken her first set of molers and three other teeth finally! The bad thing about it was that she did it all at the same time and we hardly notice it until she half way done. She is getting bigger and learning more words which is helping us figure out what she wants, almost. Her hair is also growing!!! I'm hoping that when she is 2 that I can actually do something with her hair. Aaron is keeping busy with school since he only has five weeks left for the semester. He doing very well on his reaserch which is working right and hopefully he will get his work published. We hope all is well with everyone and know that we love you.

When we went and visited Aaron's family Layla decided that rather than doing dishes that we should play in the bubbles. Now everytime I fill up the sink, she thinks that she should get in.

Layla was wanting to cook with her daddy so he gave her my strainer. She then gathered all of her pacifiers and decided to make soup with them and stir it all up with her spoon, like her dad. She did this for the whole night and wasn't happy when I put it away so that she could go to bed.

Layla has figured out where her belly button is and is proudly shows it off for the whole world to see.

It's time for Christmas and Birthday Party!!

We finnally have internet so I can update on our blog. We went down to Aaron's parents for the first part of the holidays where we celebrated Layla's first birthday and Christmas. All of Aaron's family and mine, except for Daynanne's family, were there for the party. During her birthday party Layla kept smiling and getting excited about all of the presents. Between Christmas and her birthday our family spoiled her way to much!! When it came time for the cake she took just took a little piece from it gently put it in her mouth. She ate the rest of the cake like that. We had a lot of fun spending time with our family and can't wait to see them all again!

We went to the Boise Zoo this week! It was Layla's first time and she had tons of fun. In the end though she just couldn't stay awake for the very end.

Layla too tired to wait for us to get out of the zoo. All that looking at the animals made her to tired.

Aaron's sister and nieces, Amanda, Emily, and Sierra, came with us Layla had tons of fun with them.

Layla has learned to crawl!! The only thing though is that she can't figure out how to go backwards yet. She climbed into the bucket to get her toy out and then kept running into it while she was trying to get out. Before I saved her, I had to take this cute picture.

We usually put Layla in a bath seat so that she doesn't slide everywhere. Lately Aaron has been putting her in the bath and letting her splash everywhere hoping that she won't be so scared the next time we go into the pool. She usually gets really excited and splashes so hard that she'll cover herself with water everywhere but I only caught the end of her splashing.
